Release notes
Pulsar 0.4.8
Pulsar now supports more than 170 games, including games built on BepInEx IL2CPP, and we have added a new Community tab.
New
- More than 140 new games. Pulsar now lists every BepInEx game on Thunderstore that we can currently support, alongside the 32 games we already supported. 38 of them run modded on macOS.
- IL2CPP games. Games that need BepInEx’s IL2CPP loader can now be modded through Pulsar on Windows, Linux and macOS where the game has a build for it.
- A Community tab for every game. Find the game’s mod sites, its modding Discord and its wiki in one place, at the right end of the tab bar. (#10)
- Did your mods work? After you play a newly added game with mods, Pulsar may ask once whether it worked. Your answer is anonymous and helps us confirm which games work on which systems. You can close it, or choose Don’t ask again.
Improved
- On Linux, a game’s first modded launch under Proton sets itself up. If the game has never been run, Pulsar now runs it once to prepare it, then starts it modded, instead of asking you to do that yourself.
- IL2CPP games that start without mods tell you why. If BepInEx can’t download the files it needs on first run, Pulsar now tells you which site was blocked or unreachable.
